The month of June is called "Minazuki" in the old Japanese lunar calendar. Minazuki literally means the "month of water" and appropriately coincides with the rainy season, which usually runs from early June to the end of July. After the rainy season, comes summer, hot and humid. I have selected some photos that were taken in June from my album.
